A New Algorithm
Abstract non representational triptych, 3 canvases size 48 by 36 by 1.5 inch, sides are painted.
Inspired by Pier Mondrian’s grid based structures, and Paul Klee’s structured forms, I sought for a balance between chaos and order, and between mechanical and organic.
I wanted to make a meditation piece, something to contemplate and get lost in.
It is an artistic impression of an ever-changing digital world.
I named it “A New Algorithm” to spark curiosity or discovery, and invite interpretation.
The process was explorative, and took weeks to create form and structure. I created an environment of soft colors and added depth on organically formed axises. I increased patterns of color and details before adding organic blocks. I added depth to the blocks and between them. All was created through trial and error, creating mistakes that lead to new insights.
